John F. Kennedy High School Bulletin
September 25, 2020
Dear John F. Kennedy Students and Families:
During the last week, I have received a number of questions about when in-person instruction is likely to resume, and when it does, what it will look like. Unfortunately, for now, I have little information to share. No timelines have been released, and as I understand it, we will remain in a distance learning model for the foreseeable future. Of course, should this change, I will be in touch as soon as possible.

"Zoombombing"
Dear John F. Kennedy Families:
As some may already know, schools around the nation are confronting a phenomenon known as “zoombombing,” defined as unwanted disruptions by Internet hackers during a Zoom class or meeting. In an effort to minimize these disturbances at John F. Kennedy, teachers will enable a feature that allows only authenticated users to enter our virtual classrooms. This additional layer of security allows students in but keeps others out.
