  • TODAY in B-22 at Lunch A, Medical Club will be holding a meeting and end of the semester party! We will be doing raffle baskets which will include a gift card, candy, snacks, and more. However, you must attend if you want a chance of claiming a raffle basket.  We will also be going over information about summer programs and next year’s medical club cabinet so make sure to be there.   • There will be a mandatory NHS meeting Thursday, Jan. 18 after school in room C301.
  • If you’re coming into the small gym during zero period make sure to scan the QR code and check in to Small Gym Physical Activity. We need to show it’s being used to justify keeping it open.
  • Cougars! Do you want to help those impacted by the Maui fires and raise awareness of the continued needs of the community? Sign up for Walk 4 Maui, a 5k fundraiser on February 4th. Registration is $15 for students. Sign up in the jfk.updates instagram bio!
  • Cocoa and Cram is coming up, next Monday, January 22nd, from 12:30-1:30 in the cafeteria. There will be teachers at the event to help answer any questions you have as we head into our finals! There will also be FREE hot chocolate and FREE snacks, like rice krispies, fruit snacks, and cheez its!
  • Seniors, if you missed the Cash for College workshop or need help with the FAFSA or CADAA Applications, the College and Career team will provide extra support hours next week, Monday to Friday, from 1:00 to 3:00 pm at the College and Career Center.
  • Seniors! Are you eager to embark on an exciting journey to higher education But need some support and guidance on navigating the next steps? Look no further! The Consulate General of Mexico in Sacramento, in collaboration with the California Student Aid Commission, will host their Steps to College University fair on Saturday, February 3rd, 2024, from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm. If you want to attend this field trip and take advantage of the workshops and resources, please pick up a permission slip form from the College and Career office and submit it back to the counseling office by Friday, January 26, 2024.  If you have any questions or concerns, please get in touch with Ms. Prasad at shanya-prasad@scusd.edu. 
  • Softball Tryouts begin January 29th at 3:45pm at the Varsity and JV softball fields. Must have Athletic Clearances completed and Approved to participate.
