Student Announcements
June 4, 2019

  • Attention Seniors:  You must have all of your detention time and Saturday Schools served before being allowed to checkout and receive graduation ceremony tickets.  Please see Mr. Yung to schedule or if you have questions.
  • Cougars! Your last Clarion issue of the school year is available now, and online!  Big thanks to all students for keeping the story of Kennedy going strong.  And good luck to the Class of 2019, as your story continues in new places.  Enjoy your latest Clarion!
  • Still need to pick up or buy a yearbook? Yearbook sales resume today and go until Friday the 7th at B-12 during lunch.
  • Are you taking Honors U.S. History next year? This is your last reminder to get the summer assignment from your WH teacher. See Ms. Reilley in C316 or Mr. Whalen in C301 if you have any questions.
  • Please come out and support the Fourth Annual Art and Plant Sale on June 5th, from 3:30pm to 5:30pm in room D4.  Proceeds will go to supporting students in special education on your campus.
  • Seniors–The Class of 2019–make sure you are able to walk the stage or receive your diploma! Please check with Mr. Campos to make sure you don’t have overdue textbooks or library books and get them cleared now.  If there’s any textbooks you no longer use, get a headstart in the textbook rush and return them to the library. Remember, “Can’t Graduate if you have a book late.!”
  • Attention Lady Cougars! After being displaced last season, the Kennedy Women’s Volleyball Teams are poised to move back into the newly renovated gym where we will challenge the Metro League for the 2019 Championship Title. If you think you have the attitude, work ethic and skill to continue the winning tradition and return the 2019 Metro League Title to the hallowed halls of the K-House, then you need to attend the mandatory meeting in Coach Pollock’s room (B29), immediately after school on Wednesday June 5th.  If you are planning on trying out for the women’s Junior Varsity or Varsity volleyball teams next year you will need to be there to receive important tryout and physical form information.
