  • 2019-20 Link Crew Leader Applications Available Now in the Counseling Office. Current Sophomores and Juniors can apply. Applications are due by Friday, May 3rd no later than 4pm.  If you have any questions please see Ms. DiBasilio, Ms. Cespedes or Mr. Palmer in the counseling office at lunch or after school.
  • Seniors! Royalty nominations for senior ball will be this week on stage at lunch! Come nominate yourself or a friend!
  • Senior Ball tickets will be on sale Tuesday and Thursday this week and next week, so get your tickets now if you haven’t already!
  • Auditions for the senior rally will take place Thursday May 2nd and Tuesday May 7th in Casey’s Corner. We need MCs, national anthem singer, and performances! Come try out!
  • Congratulations to our Marine Corps Junior ROTC Tug of War team.  This past Saturday, they traveled to the Yolo County Fairgrounds for the Annual Celtic Games, hosted by the Marine Corps League.  Kennedy’s team competed all day, and finished with a 3d Place Award!
  • Congratulations to Isaiah Pansoy, Chilou Vang, Janet Gazca and Jesus Guerra. These four Cadets spent the weekend at Marine Corps Base 29 Palms training at the Junior ROTC Basic Leadership Course. The evolution was challenging, and the heat was intense, but our four Cougars thrived, representing Kennedy with pride!
  • Special Olympics Track and Field is this Friday.  All student volunteers need to report to D3 during lunch to get assignments and get their name on the list for excusals. Come by D3 this week.
  • Hello Freshmen! Link Crew is having their annual Movie Night on May 10th in the quad at 7:30pm! This year’s movie is Spider Verse and snacks will be available! So grab a blanket and enjoy a great movie with your Link Crew leaders
  • Any current Freshman or Sophomore who would like to apply to the PACE Program for next year can pick up an application in room C301.  This is for current 9th or 10 graders who want to apply to PACE for next year.  Applications are in room C301.
  • ATTENTION SENIORS:  Please be proactive and serve all of your detention time and Saturday Schools well before the end of the school year.  You will not be cleared to walk the stage if you owe any outstanding time or have more than 30 periods of unverified absences.  See Mr. Yung if you have any questions.
  • Congratulations to the boys varsity baseball team for making it to play offs!
  • There is a water polo meeting on Thursday at lunch in V5
  • Congrats to Matt, Evan, Calvin, Joel, Jordan, David, Max, Nick, Zeke, Aiden, And Luke for making it to sections for swim.
