  • CSF will have their first meeting this Wednesday October 11 in the JFK auditorium after school. Check your emails for your acceptance email and an additional email with more information about the meeting.
  • Any junior or senior with a weighted cumulative GPA of 3.5 or above who is interested in National Honor Society please come to a very important meeting Tuesday, Oct. 17 after school in C301.  It is very important that any interested junior or senior with a qualifying GPA attend the NHS meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 17 after school in room C301.  The meeting will be short.
  • Attention Freshman, Sophomores, and registered Juniors

This is a reminder that tomorrow, October 11, during Periods 1 through 3, JFK is Administering the Digital PSAT 9 for all Freshmen, Digital PSAT/NMSQT for all Sophomores and registered Juniors.

Report to your assigned testing location first thing in the morning. Do Not report to your 1st Period Class.

Testing locations are posted in your English Classroom.

You must bring your fully charged school-managed chromebook that you check out from the school.

If you need to check out a school-managed chromebook, please see Ms. Brown in Room B 9.

Make sure you get plenty of rest and eat a healthy breakfast.

  • Seniors, it’s application season!! Please stop by the College & Career Center if you are applying to a UC or interested in applying, as we will be hosting a UC Application Workshop, alongside a UC Merced Admissions representative, on Friday October 13th during 5th & 6th period.
  • Seniors applying to a CSU or interested in applying, we will be hosting a CSU Application Workshop, alongside a Sac State Admissions representative, on Wednesday October 18th during 5th & 6th period. Please stop by the College & Career Office to sign up for this workshop! 
  • Seniors! Interested in a Los Rios Community College? We have a representative from Sac City visit Kennedy every Wednesday to provide support or guidance to any interested student. Even if you are just exploring your  post-secondary options! Stop by the College & Career Office to sign up or get more information. Feel free to email Ms. Hernandez or Ms Prasad as well.
  • Interested in the medical field? Medical club will be having their first meeting this Thursday at Lunch A! They will be introducing the new cabinet and will be conducting a raffle, as well as playing games! Snacks will also be handed out at the meeting so make sure to stop by.   • Seniors! Senior portraits need to be taken by October 28.  If you miss this deadline your senior portrait may not be in the yearbook. Please contact Prestige Portraits and set up an appointment today.  For more information go to www.jfkyb.com.
  • Here are all of the Kennedy Athletic events that are happening this week. On Wednesday 10/11 Girls’ Volleyball is away at Grant and Water Polo is at Laguna Creek Thursday 10/12 Girls’ Golf will be home against McClatchy and will play at  Bing Maloney, and Girls’ Tennis will be away at Grant. Friday 10/13 is Senior Night for Football, Cheer, and Marching Band. Come on out and support all of our seniors as we take on Grant. JV Kicks off at 5:00pm with Varsity starting at 7:15.
