Update Regarding LCFF Survey

A few of you have shared questions regarding the LCFF survey. Although the following embedded link provides information about the Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF), the survey itself, per District implementation, is paper only. Originally, all students received the document from their English teacher during the first few days of school. Those who had not turned in a survey by early October received a duplicate from their third period teacher during the week of October 8.

A quick reminder to fill out and return the LCFF survey. Due by no later than October 31, the data will be used by the State to determine District (and site) funding levels.

It is estimated that over $2,000 is lost for each survey not received. With over 600 still missing at Kennedy alone, the potential loss here is upward of $1 million.

Staff can assist if you are not sure if your LCFF survey has been received; please call us at (916) 395-5090.
