Back to School Information

John F. Kennedy High School Bulletin
"Zoombombing"

Post

Dear John F. Kennedy Families:

As some may already know, schools around the nation are confronting a phenomenon known as “zoombombing,” defined as unwanted disruptions by Internet hackers during a Zoom class or meeting. In an effort to minimize these disturbances at John F. Kennedy, teachers will enable a feature that allows only authenticated users to enter our virtual classrooms. This additional layer of security allows students in but keeps others out.

Resource Information

Post

Dear John F. Kennedy Families:

As we look forward to Thursday, I want to be sure that you are aware of a resource that I believe is particularly useful. If you have not already, please visit  https://learn.scusd.edu/, a one-stop digital back-to-school binder that includes technical support, tutorials, a parent toolkit, and more. The page has been designed to be user-friendly, and it provides answers to many frequently asked questions.

For updates in real time, please follow us on the JFK website, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. Our social media handle is SCUSDKennedy.

We look forward to seeing students on Thursday morning. In the meantime, should you need assistance, be sure to let us know.
