Dear John F. Kennedy Students and Families:

During the last week, I have received a number of questions about when in-person instruction is likely to resume, and when it does, what it will look like. Unfortunately, for now, I have little information to share. No timelines have been released, and as I understand it, we will remain in a distance learning model for the foreseeable future. Of course, should this change, I will be in touch as soon as possible.

Dear John F. Kennedy Students and Families:

As we come to the end of the first full week of distance education, I want to thank you for your patience and support. I am pleased to share that classrooms are running smoothly, and students are receiving robust instruction.

A few important pieces of information follow. Should you have a question or concern, the staff and I stand ready to assist.

Back-to-School Night

Make-Up Textbook Distribution Event Monday, September 14
CANCELLED

Post

Good morning, John F. Kennedy Families.

This is Principal David Van Natten.

Smoke from numerous wildfires that continue to burn in northern California has contributed to unhealthy air quality throughout the Sacramento Valley. At the direction of the school district, all textbook distribution scheduled for today has been canceled. Teachers will be notified, and students will not be penalized.
