The grant advisory board of youth is awarding a grant up to $500 for community projects that have the goal of building a stronger generation. Applications for the grant end this Friday, December 9th, so be sure to go to the Sacramento Region Community foundation website to submit your groups application.

Given the recent events regarding the clowns, the school is asking that students refrain from dressing up as clowns on or around Halloween (including face paint) so as not to be confused with or contribute to the wide spread panic that is taking place at many schools across the country. Any student dressed like a clown could potentially be perceived as a distraction as well as a threat to school safety.
