  • The Kennedy Robotics team is looking for new members to join their competitive travel team for the 2018-19 school year. In addition, any students interested in graphic and web design are welcome to join and become a part of the new media team. If you are interested, come to E-1 after school any day for more information.
  • Join the Rainbow Coalition in weekly meetings to discuss LGBTQ issues, have a safe place to hang out, play games and do arts and crafts.  Wednesdays at lunch in Room D4.
  • Aloha Freshmen, come to the tailgate party on September 14 from 4-6pm where everything is free. Yes you heard me- FREE! Enjoy the free festivities and food. Bring your freshmen friends and your school ID and have a good time with your Link Crew leaders too. We would love to see all you there.
  • Need help with English?  Writing assignments in science or history?  College application essays?  Come to Literacy Lab!  We are here to help you Monday Tuesday and Wednesday from 3:20 to 4:30 in room 302.  Se Habla Espanol!
  • Hey Cougars!  Are you looking for a fun 7th period class where you can build stuff and participate in competitions?    MESA/STEM elective is for you!  We will meet 7th period starting Monday, September 10 in room B-23!  Questions?  See Ms. Henry.  
  • Back to School Night will be on Thursday, September 13th @ 6:30pm.  Students and families are invited to meet their teachers, administrators and counselors.  
  • Attention students of all grade levels! Become a part of the student cheer section at our athletic events and join Green Scream Machine! We will have a meeting in the little theater Friday at lunch for more information! Be there!
  • Cougars! There will be a fundraiser for all JFK classes on Saturday at the Riverside Sports Bar between 4-7 pm! 40% of all food sales will go to support each graduating class! Bring your family and friends!
  • Casey’s Corner is open every Tuesday and Thursday at lunch! Come buy your ASB card while it’s still early in the year or some great Kennedy spirit wear!
  • Seniors! Friday morning will be your senior sunrise! Be at the entry area of the stadium by 6:30am to watch the sun rise on your senior years!
  • 7th period classes are starting now! Get involved and earn some extra credits after school.  But hurry!  Classes close September 14th.  Come see Ms. Chandler Cooper in B8 to register.
  • Attention all Cougars that want to start a club! Applications are available in Casey’s Corner and the Counseling office! Casey’s Corner will be open every Tuesday and Thursday at lunch!
  • Volleyball has a home game tomorrow against River City. Varsity starts at 7.
  • Men’s and women’s water polo has a meeting tomorrow at lunch in V5. Anyone who is interested or curious about the sport is encouraged to stop by.
  • Freshmen football has an away game today Bear Creeks. Football has a away game there tomorrow against Bear Creek.
