Cougar Wins

Congratulations to women’s volleyball who swept McClatchy Wednesday night!  And, a hearty way-to-go to the boys’ water polo team who kept McClatchy down by beating them 11-7.

Class of 2019

Sober Grad. Night tickets will be sold after school in the quad on Friday, October 12 and again at lunch on Friday, October 26. Price is $20, but tickets at this price are limited!

Gym Update/Cement Redo

As I shared at Cougar Parent Committee this past Tuesday, I was notified this week that much of the cement poured this summer at the front of the school and in the gym corridor (as part of the gym repair project) must be replaced as it fails to meet applicable District and industry standards.

Working with the contractor, a plan has been developed to do the replacement while minimizing disruption to classes and campus activities. Be aware, though, that there is still likely to be some disturbance as areas are blocked off, repairs occur, and equipment is moved. Everything is scheduled to be completed by October 29.

The much better (and much more anticipated) news is that the beautiful new gym floor is in, and the bleachers are on site awaiting installation! The gym is scheduled to reopen on November 1.

LCFF Survey

If you haven’t already, please do not forget to return the LCFF parent survey no later than October 31!
