  • Here’s another friendly reminder from your EQ Ambassadors that this Saturday is Homecoming at the Grand Hotel on J street. Remember to show up, have a fun time with your friends, and GET INVESTED.
  • College Night will be held in the Auditorium on Thursday, October 18th at 6:30pm. Come hear from reps from UC, CSU, private and community college. Don’t miss it!
  • Elections for the Black Student Union will be held Thursday, Oct 18th during lunch. Please come out and hear the ideas and direction our Presidential and Vice Presidential candidates would like to take us this year. Election will be held in the auditorium @ 11:55am, yes the beginning of lunch. Your Vote = Your Voice
  • Conditioning for the Women’s Soccer team will start October 29 after school in the stadium. Bring your running shoes and cleats. Tryouts will begin November 1st and will continue on through November 2nd, 5th, 6th, and 7th. 
  • Attention all Boys Basketball Players.  There will be an information and sign up meeting on Wednesday, Oct 17th in the weight room after school.  All players interested in freshman, JV, and varsity levels should attend.  Questions – see Coach Parsh.
  • Attention – all students interested in joining the Cougar Wrestling Team!  There will be a sign up and information meeting for Wrestling on Tuesday, Oct 16th after school in the weight room.  Please talk to Coach Parsh if you have any questions.
  • Varsity volleyball: Yesterday, the volleyball team had an away game against Burbank and beat them 3-0. Great job girls!
  • This Friday is the homecoming football game against River City. GSM will be there, so come out and support the team. Wear white to honor our seniors on their senior night!
  • Yesterday, the men’s and women’s water polo team had a home game against Rosemont. Men’s beat them 17-2 and women’s beat the 21-2. Tomorrow both teams have a home game against Monterey Trail. This is their last home game and senior night. Green scream machine will be there and we heavily encourage everyone to come out and support the teams from 4-6 after school at the Kennedy pool.
  • Huge shout out to the women’s water polo goalie, Junior Emma neary, who is now ranked 3rd in the nation for her 214 goal keeper saves this season. Great job Emma, we love you!
  • The Powder Puff game will be tomorrow, Wednesday, at 7 in the stadium. Come watch the Junior team take on the Seniors! It will cost $3 at the gate, free with ASB!
