The whole of Latin grammar is completed in the first few weeks and emphasis is given to the changing historiography about the fall of the Republic. Students explore a greater understanding of literary style, use of rhetoric, and other devices through Catullus’ and Ovid’s poems, Plautus’ plays, and Caesar’s commentaries.
