School Resource Officer (SRO) Tall

As some may already know, SRO Feuerbach was recently accepted onto the Department’s exclusive SWAT team. Officer (Adam) Feuerbach served the school and its community for nearly ten years. A friend and school partner, Adam will be missed, but I am excited to introduce SRO Will Tall. A veteran SRO, Officer Tall is already on the job and in communication with the community.

When you see him around, please extend a Kennedy welcome to Officer Tall!

SMUD: “I Can Afford College!”

The Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD) is offering a free workshop to help students and their families learn more about the financial and planning resources available to enable students to attend college. In addition to important information about transfer opportunities, a panel discussion will include speakers from the “I Can Afford College Campaign” as well as local financial aid experts.

The workshop will be held on Saturday, February 11 from 10:00 until 1:00 at SMUD’s customer service center located at 6301 S Street, Sacramento, CA.

More information (and required registration) is available at

Senior Advertisements (Yearbook)

A second reminder: all senior “ads” (tributes, buddies, and elementary reunion) need to ordered in advance.  There is no guarantee that there will be room in the yearbook for ads that are submitted but have not been ordered. Yearbook space is limited and needs to be reserved in advance of submission. Ads can be purchased during lunch in F-2.

A deposit of $20 will hold a place in the yearbook.  The final date for submission is January 27. There are no exceptions.

For more information, please contact Ms. Hanzlik, Yearbook Advisor, @
