February 8, 2019
Many of you have asked questions regarding the 2019-20 academic calendar proposal. To assist in answering frequently asked questions, the District has added a web page that explains the proposal in detail. Remember, at this time, the new calendar is a proposal only. As I receive additional information, I will be sure to share it with you.
It’s course selection time again! Over the next several weeks, students will meet with counselors to select coursework for the 2018-19 school year. Should you have questions, please contact the Counseling Center staff at (916) 395-5090.

School Climate Survey
Positive school climate is a top District and school priority. Families are encouraged to participate in the annual school climate survey that is used to assess feelings of safety and school connectedness. The deadline to complete the survey is February 21, 2019.
Should you encounter any difficulty accessing the survey, please contact school staff at (916) 395-5090.
This year’s winter dance will be held on Saturday, February 23 at the Library Galleria in downtown Sacramento. Tickets are on sale now. If your student intends to bring a guest, a guest pass must be completed, turned in, and approved by Assistant Principal Yung. I recommend that guest passes be turned in well in advance.
