A quick reminder that tomorrow, April 7, is a minimum day. School will be dismissed at 12:26 p.m. The after school program, ASSETs, will release at 1:37 p.m.
Spring Break is April 10-14, and school will be closed. Will see you on April 17!
It’s been a busy week at JFK, and I’d like to extend a hearty thank you to those who volunteered their time and resources to make “Every Fifteen Minutes” and the school’s accreditation (WASC) visit a complete success. We couldn’t have done it without you!
Current tenth and eleventh grade students who are interested in taking classes at Sacramento City College this summer should see their counselors as soon as possible.
This is a fantastic academic enrichment opportunity as well as a chance to get a head start on college. A 2.7 GPA is required to qualify.

Better Jobs for a Better California
News crews were on campus this week as the Manufacturing and Design (MaD) program served as backdrop for a bipartisan announcement promoting the “Better Jobs for a Better California” education and training bill package. Educators and politicians alike received the opportunity to see MaD students in action. It was impressive and a perfect opportunity to show off MaD!
