Please join me in congratulating Dave Parsh who has accepted the position of athletic director. With 20 years of experience as a successful athletic director, teacher, and coach, Mr. Parsh was an obvious choice. A transition has already begun to occur with Dave accepting the full gamut of responsibilities beginning for the 2017-18 school year.

A hearty congratulations to the boys golf team for placing third out of 17 schools in the Wolfpack Invitational. Jonathan Tanihana tied for the second lowest score in the tournament. In other news, the boys tennis team defeated Florin High School (Friday) as well as Valley this past Tuesday. The Varsity softball team under Coach Spatafore’s leadership defeated both Valley and El Camino and the boys Varsity volleyball team defeated C.K. McClatchy last week with a final score of 3-0. Last but not least, the Varsity Baseball players beat Florin on Friday with a score of 10-6.
That’s a lot of wins; way to go, Cougar athletes!
