Cougar Parent Committee (CPC)
Please join the Cougar Parent Committee (CPC) on March 6 in the little theater at John F. Kennedy. The CPC is an opportunity to engage others, hear from administrators, and receive information about academic, athletic, and extracurricular programs.
Future meeting dates include April 3 and May 8.
The annual spring concert is scheduled for Thursday, March 9 at 7:00 p.m. Come to the auditorium to see the talent that is the John F. Kennedy Music department!
For the last several years, the concert has functioned as a benefit event. This year, the band leadership has chosen “Doctors Without Borders” as the beneficiary. To support this benefit, a $5 donation (at the door) is requested.
Pledge to Stop Underage Drinking
Last December, students in the after-school program known as “Friday Night Live” surveyed over 500 high school-aged students about alcohol.
Friday Night Live is hoping to increase awareness among families and community members regarding alcohol in order to prevent underage drinking.
Please pledge to help stop underage drinking. Everyone must do their part to create positive change in our neighborhoods. The community member pledge is available here.
