Course Selection

It is time for course selection to begin. Over the next several weeks, students will meet with their counselors to select coursework for the 2017-18 school year. Once the course selection process is complete (late in March), students will receive a copy to review with you. Should you have questions, please contact the Counseling Center staff at (916) 395-5090.

No significant changes are intended for the 2017-18 course catalog.

ASVAB Registration

The Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) will be offered to students on March 7. Targeted primarily at juniors and seniors, the ASVAB is part of a comprehensive career planning program. Not offered consistently in years past at Kennedy, the battery has been widely used at schools across the country. For more information, please click here.

A community meeting has been scheduled for 6:00 p.m. in the little theater on Wednesday, March 1 at Kennedy to gather community input on characteristics desired in the next superintendent. The meeting will be hosted by Board of Trustee and Vice President Darrel Woo. I encourage as many as possible to engage in this important process.
