Clarion

Check out the Clarion here! As always, paper copies are available throughout the campus. Electronic or print, the Clarion is chock full of news from around campus, and the writing, layout, and pictures are bound to impress.

Many thanks to Mr. Hanzlik (advisor) and his team of committed students for their ever-present leadership!

Gloria Drive

In response to concerns regarding driving behavior, you may see School Resource Officer (SRO) Tall in front of the school during morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up. Many students walk or bike to and from school; depending on traffic and weather conditions, they can sometimes be difficult to see from inside a vehicle.

As a reminder, be sure to drop off and pick up either in the west parking lot (adjacent to Florin Road) or in front of the school (Gloria Drive). The east parking lot is reserved for faculty, staff, and school buses; please do not use the lot as a pull-through.

Yearbook

There is still time to purchase a yearbook! The discounted price ($75) has been extended and is available until Friday, February 3.  See Mrs. Hanzlik in F-2 to order a book. Payment plans are available.

This year, there will be no extra books. Don’t miss out on the very special 50th volume!

ASSETs

All second semester ASSETs (After School Safety & Enrichment for Teens) classes are now under way. If your student would still like to add either a 0 or 7th period, please see Ms. Chandler Cooper in room B-8.

In addition to academic tutoring, the after-school space offers students a variety of club and enrichment opportunities. For more information, please contact Ms. Cooper @ Chandler-Cooper@scusd.edu.
