  • ATTENTION SENIORS & JUNIORS on TUESDAY, JAN. 17TH SACRAMENTO CITY COLLEGE PRESENTATION about the SAGE program (Students in a Global Economy) @ LUNCH IN THE LITTLE THEATRE
  • Are you thinking about careers after high school? How about becoming an Electrician? Come learn about a career as an Electrician on Wednesday January 18th during lunch in room B15. This Career Conversation is the first in a series of Career Conversations provided by the Counseling Office. To sign up please go to the Counseling Office before school, during lunch or after school, To request a specific career presentation, please email Ms. Cespedes. 
  • French Club is selling croissants this Friday during Food Fair for 2-3 tickets! We have Almond, Chocolate, Butter, Strawberry, and Ham & Cheese! Don’t forget to check it out!
  • Friday will be our 2nd food fair of the year! Please bring your money and support our campus clubs!
  • Juniors! Tuesday through Thursday this week will Early Bird prices for junior prom! Come buy your tickets at lunch and after school all three days and save some money!
  • Dog Lover’s Club will be having a meeting tomorrow in C301 at lunch. Dogs will also be coming to school this Friday after school!! woof!
  • Seniors that purchased senior yearbook ads must turn the ads in to Room F2 no later than Friday, January 27th. If you would like purchase a senior tribute, buddy, or elementary school ad, see Mrs. Hanzlik, but hurry, time is running out.  
  • Yearbooks are currently on sale during lunch on Fridays in Room F2.  The price is $75. until the end of the semester.  The last day to purchase a nameplate for your yearbook is Friday, January 20th.  Order your yearbook now, surplus books will not be ordered this year and prices will go up at the end of the semester.  Payment plans are available.
  • You saw us at the rally, come join us in dance class! V.I.Project Move is welcoming new members ready to dance! Check out our workshops on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays right after school in room D1!
  • If you are a senior who attended Didion for elementary school, please meet on Tuesday, January 17th at 3:30 at the Didion playground for the yearbook ad. If everyone shows up, a full page will cost about $5. See you there!
  • Are you passionate about issues surrounding women in modern society but have no idea what to do about it? Well join Girls United Club! We meet every Monday during lunch in Mrs. Fugina’s classroom, Room B28. All are welcome so come to our next meeting to learn how you can start helping women now.
  • The Men’s Leadership Academy meets today after school at 3:15 in Room E3. All young men who are interested in life coaching, mentoring and tutoring are encouraged to join. Please stop by Assets to sign up with Ms. Cooper.
  • The Rainbow Coalition will be having meetings on Wednesdays.  Please come out and get to know each other through games and talking about LGBTQ issues.  We will meet on Wednesdays at lunch in room D4
  • Attention students! Winter Ball has changed to Winter Homecoming this year! The game will be the men’s basketball game on February 10th against Florin and the dance will be February 11th at Elks Lodge. Prices are $5 w/ ASB, $10 without, and $15 for a guest pass! Tickets on sale now!
  • SOFTBALL PLAYERS: If you are a freshman or a sophomore & missed Softball sign-ups, Please see coach Spatafore in room C218 as soon as possible. Tryouts start February 6th and your paperwork needs to be in by January 27th. See coach Spatafore to get your paperwork.
  • Men’s Volleyball Tryouts will be February 6th and 8th from 6pm-8pm in the Aux gym.
  • The Track and Field Team will hold signups and pre season conditioning today at 3:30 in the stadium. In case of rain meet in  front of the cafeteria. All students interested in joining our Metro League Champion Track and Field Team in the spring are asked to stop by and sign up and prepare for a great season!
  • Rugby practices on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5:30 pm in the stadium. Come check it out!
  • Last Friday, your Cougars basketball defeated CKM with Varsity 62-53 and JV 75-47. Yesterday, your JV boys Basketball defeated Benicia 72-48. This Wednesday, Kennedy Basketball is facing against Laguna Creek High School. Boys are home game and girls are away game. Freshmen starts at 4, JV at 5:30, and Varsity at 7. Make sure to come out to support your Kennedy Cougars against Laguna Creek.
  • Kennedy Soccer is having a face off against Laguna Creek. Boys are home game and girls are away. JV starts at 4:30 while Varsity starts at 6.
