  • With the weather warming up and the 3rd quarter coming to a close, we will be moving back to our no beanie policy after we return from Spring Break.

 In addition, please remember to follow the school’s dress code.
-No hats, unless they are Kennedy hats.
-No solid red or blue tops or bottoms.  Articles of clothes that are predominantly red or blue cannot be paired with another article of clothing that is predominantly of the same color.   
-No revealing clothes are allowed, including…
     -sagging pants,
     -short length shorts, skirts or dresses,
     -shirts exposing the midriff
     -low cut tops
     -backless, strapless or spaghetti string tops

  • Any senior with more than 6 periods of unverified absences will not be allowed to participate in senior activates at the end of the year, including graduation ceremonies.  You must attend Saturday School in order to get these absences cleared.  Please go to the counseling or discipline office for a list of the available Saturday Schools left in the year.    
  • All Seniors must clear and serve all of their detention time that is owed prior to being allowed to participate in any Senior activities.  You can see Ms. Jones in the discipline office with any questions regarding time owed.
  • Seniors:  A UC MERCED admissions counselor will be in the little theater at the beginning of lunch today to assist seniors  considering UC Merced. 
  • Attention all students! Are you interested in being in JFK Student Government next year? Applications are now available in the counseling office, Casey’s Corner, and online. Applications are due Friday April 21st.
  • Current sophomores and juniors interested in taking classes at Sacramento City College this summer should see their counselors this month to learn more and find out how to register.   
  • Did you know that every 107 seconds, an American is sexually assaulted? April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month. Join Endeavor Club’s fight to prevent sexual assault and change this statistic. You can get involved in organizations such as WEAVE or My Sister’s House. No means no.
  • Attention Interact members.  There is an Interact meeting at lunch in room C-217 this Thursday.  See you all there!
  • Attention seniors! Last day to purchase senior ball tickets at early bird prices at lunch! Check the flyers around campus for prices!
  • On Tuesday, your men’s varsity volleyball team defeated Sac High in 3 sets. Today the varsity team has a home match against Valley starting at 5, and the JV team will also be playing away against El Dorado at 5.
  • Last week, the men’s gold team defeated Hiram Johnson 165-290, and next Monday, they will be competing in the Ty Caplin Memorial Tournament at the Elkhorn Golf Course.
  • Today the swim team has an away meet against McClatchy at 4.
  • On Tuesday, your Varsity softball team defeated Burbank 22-0. Today both the JV and Varsity teams have away games against Sac High at 4.
  • Tomorrow both of your baseball teams will again be playing away against Laguna Creek, both starting at 4.
  • Today your men’s tennis team has an away match against Valley starting at 3:45.
